Club Parentaide Beauce-Centre is a dynamic non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the optimal development of the family by supporting parents in their role and focusing on the full potential of the individual. Founded in 1994, the organization intervenes in front-line services through its food aid counter and collective kitchens. Working as the family home of the MRC Beauce-Centre, Club Parentaide offers several intervention and animation programs to families of the region.
Part of the organization's funding comes from the Ministère de la famille, Centraide and donations from various partners. To fill most of its funding, the organization uses its social economy component, Aventuria. This outdoor center combines nature, fun and activities through its aerial circuits and zip lines, its lively village for children, its accommodations and its growing corporate offer. As part of a social tourism approach, the proposed service offer is characterized by its high physical and economic accessibility, both for families in the region and for local and regional communities such as schools, CPEs and community organizations. By offering both recreational and educational services, Aventuria promotes better family, social and community cohesion.
